HORSESHOE September 20th:
28 of us attended this year’s Horseshoe event. It was held back at its former traditional site in South Cooking Lake. Beer, Pop and Pizza were what kept us going until the winners were declared. Ray Davis and guest, Barrie Thomlinson edged out runners up, Dorne Hunt and Jim Mallot in the final match. It was a great afternoon with the weather cooperating. Thanks go to Bernie Kropp and Sid Slade for keeping us all in line, fed, and watered. The size of the prize bottles reflected our budget conscious organizers!
