The Gyro Club of Sherwood Park consists of men, both working and retired, but all of like ethics and principles such that bonds of friendship form. Membership, which is by invitation, ranges in age from under 40 to 80+. The club, chartered in 1975, celebrated its 35th anniversary in year 2010.
The Club meets every second Wednesday evening from September to June. The meetings normally include dinner and an activity such as bocce, bowling, card tournaments, tours, etc. or a guest speaker. Gyro business is kept to a minimum to allow more time for “fellowship and fun”.
Our aim is to have fun and enjoy one another’s company.
