The Vice-President of the Club is the “President-Elect” for the following year. It is his duty to act for the President in his absence and in every way to act on the President’s behalf. He shall support the President in all matters and be prepared to take over the Presidency at the next election. Thus his job could be seen as a training period for the Presidency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- He is to act for the President in his absence.
- He is the Catering Chairman and the Club’s liaison with the Club’s regular meeting place and is also involved in ensuring that non-regular meeting locations are able to host those non-regular meeting.
- He assists the President and his Gyrette with the hosting of the annual Christmas Party.
- He provides support to other Officers and Board members carrying out their assigned activities.
- Handles any other duties that are assigned him on behalf of the Club.
