Just wanted to update you on our Mystery Golf Tour. We ended up with 20 players, most of which were Gyros with a couple of guests invited. We played the Barrhead Golf Club. We had fantastic weather and played a very beautiful course. The green fees were absolutely incredible and also included a steak sandwich after the round. The total cost was $56.00. Gord Stewart negotiated a super deal. Thanks go out to Gord and Rusty for doing their part in making this day possible.
I arranged some games that we could play up there to make it more interesting than just playing golf. The winners of the team games were:
- Front nine, Augie Annicchiarico, Danny Lamb, Ed Bleakley, and Graham Morris.
- Back nine winners were Jack Beattie, Bill Austin, Glen Hersikorn and Bernie Kropp.
The overall winners were Gord Stewart, Sid Slade, Roger Delveaux and Bob Matheson.
The accuracy shots or Kps on par 3s were shared by Peter Sachatsky , Bernie Woodkey, Sid Slade and our president Ray Davis. Way to go guys.
The guys can’t wait till next year as fun was had by all.
